Each of our beer recipes uses only the finest hops, wheat, barley, and other ingredients to combine for a fine tasting brew. The smoothness of each swallow is unsurpassed. Experience our passion for brewing for yourself.

We brew a five-gallon batch approximately every three weeks, choosing a recipe based on the current season.

Eileen's major requirement for the logo was a skull ...

I added the ingredients -- grain and hop cones ...

The tartan in the logo is the Ancient Hunting Tartan of Clan MacRae (Eileen's paternal heritage), and "Fortitudine" (strength, courage, valor) is the motto of said clan.

CLAN BREW:

A LONG TIME COMING ...

About a dozen years ago, while discovering the craft and micro brews, we recognized the quality and abundance of flavor within those great beers.

Now and then we thought how cool it would be to brew our own beers; but neither of us really thought that we would have the endurance, patience and focus to detail necessary to implement a small home-brew operation.

Fast forward to the summer of 2014, when we finally took the plunge and never looked back ... And Clan Brew has become a reality ...

We currently use extract-brewing kits, while throwing in an occasional experiment. While all-grain may be in our future, our primary focus at this point is to produce great tasting beers with the equipment at hand.
